Where?
- On the Railay beaches cliffs a short long tail boat ride from our quality hotel base at Ao Nammao. Fly to Krabi, one hour from Bangkok; Bangkok is a busy destination served by lots of international flights from the UK.
- Stay in clean high quality hotel accommodation; breakfasts and evening meals at client expense; hotel and air conditioned rooms are twin share. Single rooms are available at a small supplement.
Who is it for?
- This is not an instructed holiday so you need to be able to lead routes at 4+ or follow routes on a bottom rope.
- Climbers who want the hotel, local transport, best routes sorted for them so that they can enjoy their holiday!
- Climbers who want to combine rockclimbing with a super relaxed holiday with rest activities such as snorkeling and exploration of the wonderful area and beaches.
- Single climbers who want a climbing partner for the holiday.
General Course outline:
- 10 day holiday with 8+ days of climbing on single-pitch and multi pitch climbs on the superb Prah Nang limestone crags.
- Friendly advice from Steve and our local guides at Thai'd Up climbing.
- Multi pitch climbs on the amazing Thaiwand wall if required at additional expense using our local Thai guides.
- Crag and personal route selection using guidebook or topo.
- You can climb a variety of routes up to 7a+ and you will be coached on your footwork, handhold selection and movement skills.
- You will be able to climb some of the best tufa routes in the world.
What's included:
- All transport including airport transfers from Krabi to your hotel.
- Hotel accommodation. Supplements for single room accommodation.
- Transport to/from routes including longtail boats.
- Advice on best routes to do.
- We can lead routes for you to set up bottom ropes for you on routes that you dont want to lead. We will be acting as a climbing partner for you- not instructing or guiding you.

- Instruction or guiding.
- Flights to Bangkok and Krabi.
- Evening meals.
- Optional activities on rest days such as snorkeling.
